I open my eyes and see that I'm in my bed, but my family is gathered around, watching me. When they see I've woken up, my mother comes over and takes me in her arms.
“Baby... how are you?” I notice her eyes are filled with tears. She caresses me like when I was really a very small child. My father is at the foot of the bed, and I can see the anguish on his face. I extend my arm for him to come closer.
