Josh cursed and threw his phone on the wall when Amber didn't answer. It created a loud sound and dropped on the ground, broken and couldn't be used again. It was his second phone in the month. He keeps throwing them every time he's angry.
"God damn it, Amber!" he said and blew a breath. He went out of the room and saw Austin, Amber's brother. Josh approached him.
"Why does Amber keep declining my calls?" Josh asked.
"I don't know, Josh," Austin replied and went back to sorting the documents. His work doubled because of what happened, and he couldn't complain. After all, he's the Beta and wanted what was best in the pack. Austin hopes the Alpha and Josh will change for good, but he thinks it was too early seeing seething Josh beside him.
