Alastair barged through the door when he heard I woke up. I was scooped into his arms and suffocated to death by his tight hug in an instant. "Why didn't you open your eyes for so long?" he asked me. His hands that were wrapped around me were trembling. It pained my heart to see my beast shaking like a newborn calf. It saddened me even more that I was helpless against his fears. I could never take his pain away and that made me tear up. "I heard you skipped work for days when I was out," I commented, blinking my eyes furiously. "How can you skip your work for something as small as me fainting from fatigue?" I pulled away from him and smacked his arm. His expression relaxed when he saw me in high spirits. "I was afraid you won't wake up," he placed his head on my shoulder and sighed.
