I have been busy the whole afternoon, going here and there. It felt weird flexing my muscles as I had not been doing much the past three weeks.
I was sent to Aaron’s office once to ask for his signature. As he was on the phone, we had only shared a quick and silent kiss before I went on my way out. I could only laugh at my mom’s silliness, as she had been using me to her advantage. The papers she had Aaron signed were HR's monthly budget and Aaron did not even look at them. I would have waited for Aaron to finish with the phone call, but Mom instructed me to get back to the office as soon as it was signed.
“Can you do a report on the last two year’s budget, Calista? You can get the information from Joanne. Can you submit it to me by Monday?”
