Calista POV I was momentarily frozen until I realized that Aaron had left. Springing into action, I tried to catch up with him and explain myself. He was no longer in the hallway, so I had to wait for an elevator to come up. Arriving in the basement, I saw that I was too late. His car was no longer in the designated car park. I went back to our apartment and tried to call him. But, of course, he wouldn’t answer. I sent him a few messages instead. “Baby. Please let me explain. Calm down first.
