King Gabriel's POV
As soon as Griff and Madison leave the room, the sound of joyous laughter fills the air. Charlotte and Tom seem delighted. Hope approves, which believe me is an accomplishment if you know my sister, and Chesca seems emotional. I smile at her gently from across the room as I watch her swipe another tear away from her cheek.
“How do you feel?” I ask her privately.
She looks up and her hazel eyes soften.
“I’m so pleased for him. This is amazing.” she answers.
I can hear the relief in her voice and I have to admit I feel it too. As soon as Griff and Madison made their connection, it was as if a weight had been lifted off of my shoulders. It’s time to move on now and the future is looking so bright.
