Alpha Annie’s POV
“Okay… are we clear on the plan?” I mutter under my breath as the heavy door at the top of the stairs creaks open.
“Ready.” Rhys whispers in return.
“Well I’m not…” Kade huffs uncomfortably, furrowing his brows. “And if my wolf was around, he would be going f*****g crazy right now too.”
I shake my head at him gently. “Just lay down and pretend to be asleep. Quick.”
Kade reluctantly turns away and settles himself in the stone floor whilst Rhys follows suit.
A few moments later two guards come walking down the corridor with trays of food in their hands.
“Here.” one of them states gruffly, shoving the tray under the narrow gap at the bottom of the cell.
