The following week, Tyler was having a drink with Dave.
“Do you think I should take a leaf out of you?” Tyler asked as he looked around.
Dave frowned, “What do you mean?”
“Should I go and talk to Jamie’s parents? See if they would agree to attend our wedding?”
At this, Dave pursed his lips. The two of them stared at each other. Tyler didn’t like his silence.
Finally, he spoke, “I don’t think that’s a good idea. Jamie knows them best and if she believes they won’t bother to come, I don’t see how you can persuade them.”
