Jamie turned away from Dave. He needed the time to think, that’s for sure.
She watched as Tyler finally ended his ranting. Was it a rant? It looked like a parent lecturing his kids, actually.
His expression, though… She’d never seen that before and she oddly felt like he’s more attractive this way. That serious face, with a tinge of a frown. It looked hot.
Jamie coughed before looking away. Oh, dear. Maybe it’s because she’s used to seeing him all cheery and smiling. He’s attractive that way, too, but… she just couldn’t take him seriously when he’s like that. Like anytime, he’s about to say he’s just joking.
Tyler approached them quietly. He was surprised when Jamie grinned at him and lightly clapped in front of him.
His frown deepened but he’s also smiling now.
