"How dare you violate my order?" My father stormed into my room as soon as he received a mind link from Lola. I had anticipated his arrival. How could she so much as digest her food without spitting out venom against me? I had kicked her out of my room along with the beautiful engagement dress that she had brought me. I saw her passing by my window with her swollen cheek. I wish that I would have slapped her harder but I stopped when she found me in the hallway. She had dared to interrogate me last night. I had heard Victor’s growl from behind the door, he had already said that he would kill her. But she stood there unknowingly giving him further reason by interrogating me. To prevent him from coming out of his room before her eyes I had slapped her in anger then dragged her away.
