Emily POV The house, the part I had seen so far, was lovely; the place was full of bright colors, sunflowers, and other bright flowers lined the garden beds alongside the footpath that led towards the front door. I had walked out of the house that was my mother's and crossed a minor road to another home across from hers. The house was a cottage style but much larger than a cottage, almost a mansion, with no fences surrounding the front yards. Each house I could see was at least three levels, and the roof had windows, which gave me the impression that the room was used as a room, too, whether for sleep or storage.
