Elyssa’s heavy eyelids fluttered open to see Edric’s vibrant features on her face. His eyes rippled in bright blue waves on seeing her regain consciousness.
“Ahhh,” she winced, clutching her head. “What happened?”
The last thing she remembered was trying to lift a rock in the training yard with her telekinetic abilities when she suddenly slumped to the floor.
“Don’t worry,” Edric squeezed her other hand, pressing his lips against it to stamp a long kiss. “It’s nothing serious. You just passed out while training.”
Throughout the week, she hadn’t been feeling too well and the same feeling that confirmed her pregnancy yesterday was mutual with the one she felt back at the training yard. And perhaps, her training triggered it.
