Rose POV
Wanting to start my day early like Jace, with him leaving the house at three in the morning, I got up at six to start cleaning around the house. I thought I would start with the porch when the neighbors were still inside their houses.
Stretching my arms out, I looked around and my eyes landed on a bunch of flowers sitting on a chair. It was really sweet for Jace to leave flowers for me. I smiled for a second until I picked them up. The flowers were already wilted.
It confused me as to why I had wilted flowers on my porch. If Jace left it there in the morning, it wouldn’t have been that wilted. Thinking about it, he wouldn’t leave the flowers at all! He would give it directly to me!
