I kiss Mom's cheek one last time before pulling away and I help pull the duvet up, over her body. Usually after breakfast and her morning shots she goes back back to sleep, so I know there shouldn't be anything to worry about for the next four hours or more.
"Your fruits for lunch are right here, I have them all peeled and sliced. There's also some ice to keep it fresh for when you're ready to eat it, please call me if you need anything okay?" I tell mom and she nods, smiling.
