"Help me fill the water bottle with some more water. I feel thirsty and I think I might wake up thirsty in the night." Mom requests as I move to switch off her bedside lamp.
"Okay, let me get an extra water bottle from the kitchen." I walk out of the room, going to the kitchen cabinet to get two other water bottles and I return to her room, filling both bottles with hot water.
"You take the water in the green water bottle first, this other two contains hot water which should be lukewarm when you wake up in the night for a drink. I'll leave the lamp on so you can see what you're reaching for." I place the other bottles on the bedside table, while explaining to her which one to reach for first and the ones to take later at night.
