Melody’s POV
I was aghast with myself; trying desperately to get my wolf back under control, but the animal side of me was not having it. It kept on licking and sniffing Teddy making him laugh. “Calm down, beautiful girl. I think your human side is angry with you.” His voice seemed to have some effect on my beast, soothing it.
I was soon able to reel her in and take over, but when I did, I realized all of my clothing was shredded behind me. Ah dammit! Now what am I going to do? I couldn’t shift back naked in the middle of the city! I rooted around the pile of rags, looking for something wearable, but to no avail.
“Can I help you, Melody?” Teddy reached toward me. I growled at his outstretched hand, making him hesitate. “I would never hurt you, beautiful.”
