“Well this is going to be useful.” I smiled, feeling like this was a small victory.
“And apparently I’m next on their list.” Chester put his hand to his face, bringing it down in consternation. “I need to find the mole in my pack and fast. So you mind if I keep the phone? It’ll come in handy back in my pack.”
“Sure, just keep us informed should something come of it.” Teddy shook his head, getting a bag of ice for Chester and his severed finger.
“I noticed the ring there, Melody. Congratulations.” Chester smiled at me as I pulled more eggs from the fridge, intent on finishing my cake.
