Teddy’s POV
The inside of the house was quite impressive. There was the original woodwork everywhere. An oak staircase wrapped around the center wall with rooms on either side. Halls could be seen on either side of the stairs, leading back. I wondered around the first floor, taking a mental inventory. A couple of the rooms had some furniture covered by white sheets and tarps. They looked to be in decent shape too when he uncovered them. At the back of the house I found the kitchen. It was an impressive size that hadn’t been updated probably since the house was built. Off to the side was a butlers galley and a summer kitchen.
I could easily see Melody in there cooking and baking up a storm if I ever persuaded her to let me stick around. I would install a double oven over in the corner, ne
