Melody’s POV
my head felt like it was splitting in two, the voices not halting for even a second. I woke up dazed and confused; a massive headache pounding away in my head. I slowly sat up and put my feet over the side of the bed, needing to use the restroom really badly. When I hopped up, my feet fell onto soft earth and not carpet.
I startled and really focused my eyes around me, taking everything in. I was in a forest glade surrounded by moonlight and trees steeped in moss. A fog hung low on the ground as various plants swayed in a wind that was not there. Lights twinkled through the air with no real source, floating in some pattern that I could not follow.
