Lily POV
As soon as the last word leaves her mouth I feel like I'm on fire. "Ariel, please," I say, wanting the burning to stop. "I know Lily. I know it's scary, and it hurts, but we have to shift. The rogue isn't alone." The pain has me falling to my knees. I curl into a ball as what sounds like a bat cracking in half sounds in the air. It takes me a second to realize the sound is coming from me. My arm is cracking like it's being broken in two.
