Lily POV
I swear I feel like my brain is going to explode. I expected to leave for the Elven Kingdom right after I spoke to my father, but that idea was quickly vetoed. After talking to Mindy, I understood why, but it didn't make Ariel or I feel any better about waiting a week to leave. Goddess only knows what is happening to our mate while we are here learning elven history.
Flashback
"What do you mean? I told you what the goddess showed me. The longer we wait the more pain and suffering my mate is enduring. What if we don't make it to him in time" I say my voice rising with each word. Ariel is pacing in my head. How can she expect me to sit here and listen to her talk about the elf tribes?
