My eyes fly open, and I rush to the bathroom. I make it just in time to empty the contents of my stomach into the toilet. Fear washes over me as the old hag's words replay in my head. It can't be. The goddess wouldn't be so cruel after I just found Liam. I freeze when hands pull my hair back from face. "Looks like we will be making that trip to the hospital today" he says as he rubs my back.
He hands me a washcloth and I wipe my mouth. "David, I don't think that is really necessary." "Well, I do. This is not up for discussion. Get yourself dressed and sort the children so we can head to the hospital" he says. "David, I'm sure you have important things to attend to after our discussion last night. I can go by myself and let you know what the doctor says."
