Amaris’ POV
I sobbed after Prince Daniel shifted back to his human form. We’re now in his bedroom and he was standing in front of me. He lost balance when he successfully shifted back, so I quickly caught him and made him sit on the bed. I grabbed the blanket and put it on him to cover his nakedness. He was staring at my face as I did those things.
“Aria…” he grabbed my wrist worriedly. "Are you okay?"
I nodded as I bit my bottom lip hard, suppressing my tears. "Yes. Thank you for coming for me."
He shook his head and without further ado, he pulled me closer and hugged me so tight. He buried his face in my chest as his shoulders started shaking.
Worried, I put my hands on his shoulders. "Your highness…"
"M-My leg, Aria… I lost my leg. Will you still accept me?"
