Amaris’ POV
“Are you okay?” King Ragriel asked when I lifted my face and looked at him.
I felt my heart becoming wild again because of our position and distance, so I immediately pushed him and fixed myself. I glanced at him when I felt his intense eyes on mine. He was looking at my face and was waiting for eyes to meet.
I blinked multiple times and nodded at him, “Yeah, I-I’m okay. Thank you.”
He nodded and went to the fire. He put some firewood and went back to the tree where he was leaning a while ago. He sat there comfortably and closed his eyes as if nothing happened.
