Amaris’ POV
“Enough,” I said in a very low tone.
They both looked at me and they haven’t calmed down yet. Their eyes are still burning in anger and I know I couldn’t make them get along. They hate each other even from the very beginning. There’s no way they’d reconcile or what.
Prince Daniel offered his hand to me and spoke… “ Let’s go, Aria.”
“Aria, take my hand.”
I looked at King Ragriel’s hand. It was tempting me but I know there will be consequences if I take his hand now. From what he said, he hasn't recovered from his illness yet, so I can’t just recklessly choose him and put him in grave danger.
“Your Majesty, I think I need to go.”
His forehead creased, “What? I thought we’re okay—”
“Never will be, Ragriel. Aria is marrying me now. Just accept that fact and let her go.”
