“Ouch!” I groaned and frowned at Judy. She’s treating my new wound right after a rogue shot me with a silver bullet.
She glared at me. “I told you to run because you are their target. You’re making it easy for them to accomplish their mission, Riel.”
“Tss!” I hissed and looked at Henry. He’s talking to our men.
Thankfully we won. Countless bodies of rogues scattered around the palace. The green grasses were now covered with blood and the air smells like blood. This feels like a battlefield. I couldn’t believe I’d see my territory like this. For so many years. I’ve been trying to keep peace between my territory and the other territories. I don’t understand why it has to reach this point.
“Your majesty, the civilians have evacuated as per your order. They’re now safe”
