“Tiffany.” Nathan nodded at her in greeting. “Where would that be?” Adria kept moving in her chair like there were spikes in it. “We are going nowhere,” Adria interrupted before Tiffany could reply. “Please take us home.” “Adria is no fun. Trust me, this is all for her benefit,” Tiffany cut in again, completely refusing to hear Adria’s pleas. Regret had already crept in the moment she told Tiffany how she felt.
She shouldn’t have. Now she was about to reap the reward for her actions.
Nathan was the last person she’d ever want to know what was happening.
It was like confirming whatever delusions he had of her.
And she wouldn’t even know peace at all.
