“Andy!” Charlene called Andy while at work.
“Yes, lady,” Andy said, holding her phone between her ears while feeding Adrienne as she sat on the couch.
“Tell me. Did something happen this weekend with you and Damien?” Charlene asked curiously.
“Lady, you were here over the weekend, and no one knew where he was,” Andy replied.
“Strange…”
Andy was taken aback by Charlene’s words.
It had been three days since she and Damien met and talked. It was on the night she gave him the divorce papers. He never came back the next day to visit Adrienne and even yesterday.
