Andy flickered her eyes as she stirred from her deep sleep. Her head wasn’t resting on her soft pillow but on a somewhat hard cushion. Nudging her head up, she found herself lying next to Damien, embracing him.
‘ What the hell?’ she scrunched her face in disbelief.
Damien was peacefully sleeping on her bed. His soft snores told her he was in a deep slumber.
Slowly getting up, Andy carefully and gently stood from her bed. She was still in pain but much better now that she had rested.
Looking at the bedside table, the clock showed it was already five in the afternoon, two more hours until Adrienne’s scheduled feeding time.
Andy slowly crept to her bathroom to do her business. After some time, she decided to take a quick hot bath to ease her body pain.
