Loraine was shielding fire shots coming from Erique who had invaded Ashley’s body. She did not want to hurt Ashley. But, the longer she fought Erique’s powers, the weaker she got.
“Ashley is indeed powerful” Loraine whispered to herself and chanted a spell of protection from the spirit of her ancestors. “You will not win, Erique. Release her and fight me, down under”
Erique laughed and shook his head, “Come on, Loraine. I just got back. I know you needed someone like me to spice up your life. Were you bored while I was away? You know, you are not the type that would sit around at home taking care of your family. This war is what you need. Power. Strength. Don’t lie to me, Loraine. I know you love it”
