“Ashley, please don’t do this. I’m sorry” I kneeled down by her side while placing a hand on one of her hands. I then palmed her cheeks gently as I whispered my words to calm her sadness, “Honey, I’m sorry. I did not mean to say those words. I just could not lose you again and again. I can’t. I would rather die than living in this life without you. Please look at me”
