I was worried that Nikolai would not be in favour of living in my modest looking two-bedroom apartment. My whole house was probably as big as how his kitchen was back at his luxurious penthouse at Averna. Getting a house in Amberose City did not come cheap especially when I had chosen to stay in the high-end district.
It was a strategically located apartment situated near my small boutique of dresses and most importantly it was at a walking distance to Teddy’s new pre-school of gifted Witches and Wizards. An exclusive school only to children who could pass a very difficult examination and could demonstrate how powerful they are.
My son was of course, very powerful for his age.
