Damon’s POV
I woke up to the sound of a phone ringing. What that f**k, I'm tired let me sleep. I roll over and grab my phone off the nightstand where I always leave it without looking and bring it to my ear. "Hello?" I answer it but get no response. Ugh stupid idiots calling me so early in the morning.
“Mmmm” Emily hums from the other side of the bed. Great. They woke up my little mate, she needs her rest. I roll back over and go to wrap my arms around where I left her but she isn’t there. I open my eyes for the first time to see Emily leaning up some on her elbow with her back to me holding a phone to her ears. Did someone call her? Who would call her when she is so if-y this early in the morning. We never know how she is going to react when she first wakes up.
