The old cemetery was nearly in ruins, with lifeless trees and broken gravestones everywhere. It was an unpleasant place to be in especially when the mist and eerie silence made the environment even scarier. Dry autumn leaves crackled as Rose and the hawk walked ahead slowly and cautiously. A pair of ravens watched with eager eyes as the hawk guided her, “Are you sure this is the right route? I mean how can a long-forgotten cemetery be a shortcut to the royal palace?” Rose enquired and caught the hawk’s arm. “Trust me, we are on the right path…” the hawk replied with a straight face and continued walking ahead. “I trust you…” Rose replied while the hawk smirked.
