I couldn’t wipe off the smile on my face in the next coming days. When I learned what Major thought of me, I felt like I have been floating and have never gone back to land again. Even the news of my Mom and Dad going out of the country for a week on my birthday didn’t make it to my make me lonely list.
“Where are you?”
Major called me when I was done with my English subject. I still have three more periods to go before dismissal so I decided to eat at the cafeteria for now.
“Canteen,” I replied while choosing where I would buy my lunch.
“Are you only eating now?” I can hear the concern in his voice.
