They both quietly inside the car. “What should we do?” Eunice asked the young man.
“I don’t know, should I take you to the hospital or police station.” A young man said with serious tone voice.
Eunice nodded as approved, the young man took her in hospital, there was a nurse when they arrived at the hospital and immediately assess them.
They followed the nurse and told them to heal the wounds of the young lady. “The doctor is waiting the patient inside the room,” the nurse told them, and the nurse was also helped Eunice into the room.
While Dylan was left watching and waiting outside. He watched walking patients in the hallway and panicked nurse and doctor around.
“What happened to your foot young lady?” The handsome doctor asked Eunice. The nurse left them alone to get some medicine needed for Eunice wounded foot.
She doesn't know if she will answer the question and talk about the facts of what happened on her foot. Her mind argued before she tells a lie, “there’s an accident in our school because of the game.” She needs to tell a lie before the doctor thinks that she’s a crazy young lady, because even her she doesn’t believe of what happened earlier.
The doctor examined her feet while holding it, she hardly feels the pain while the doctor squeezing her feet. The doctor shakes his head, “Look is too pale because there’s too much blood lost in your foot, alas.” The doctor stood also to get drugs and cleaning tools for the wound of the young lady. “It seems like you didn’t live here.”
Eunice was puzzled of what she heard from the doctor while studying the man. Suddenly the girl feels anxious and fear that time. The doctor faced him with strange look at her, she noticed their eyes didn’t meet yet since she enter the room and while their talking.
Eunice’s eyes slowly widened when the doctor pulled its knife from the back.
The girl’s eyes widened because of the shock. “Help---” she was not able to call for a help from the young man outside the room when suddenly the doctor attacked her. She kicked the doctor cause for this man fall and drop the knife. Eunice's tried to stand properly and walk to get away from the predator. She never turned nearby on the door when the doctor stand behind her. The man pulled her hair and pushed her from the wall. She was dizzy when she hit the head on the wall.
The doctor took up the knife again fell earlier on the floor. After he get it, he turned again attention to Eunice. The his ready for assault.
Eunice realized that the doctor is also a monster. Wondering how the man became a doctor even he is a monster. There is nothing impossible now, she thought. Collecting her strength when she felt the doctor is licking her face. She’s just liked a delicious food from the monster.
The girl step backward to get away from the monster. The man fell again, she pushed the table near her.
The young man from the outside heard something from the room, wondering. He looks from the window to see what happens, when he saw what happen inside the room, he was immediately helped Eunice, with no doubt he opened the door. He saw Eunice in a corner of the room trying to stand and the doctor lying down on the floor trying to catch the knife.
The doctor stopped when he gets inside the room. He turned to the lad with red eyes.
The young man came quickly from the side of Eunice, to protect the girl. “You're not ashamed.” The young man said from the man.
The doctor smiled at a young man. “What do you want me to do, hide?” And the monster laughs louder.
“You don't have the right touch anyone I know.” The young man said and carry Eunice like a newly wedding couple.
“I’m not afraid kid from you or any of your kinds.” The monster and leave the room.
The young man came out to the hospital immediately as he carries Eunice. The young man drove away when they get in the car. “You are not really safe here. They just pretending to be a normal people. I didn't know where I can go take you to safest place. You can’t go anywhere. Even the police would not be going to return to your home safely. From the very beginning I shouldn’t not help you.”
Eunice felt the anxious and fear because of what happened earlier. She holds her head using her one hand because of the pain, “sorry,” she said quietly.
They stopped in pharmacy drugs and the young man dropped to buy medicine for the girl’s wound. It drove again and stopped again on a road that ramps less cars. Almost trees smattering around. Dylan opened the door on passenger seat, then he took the one wounded foot of the girl while his in the outside. He cleaned it first. Eunice feel strange pain while she treated of the young man. After the young man cleaned the wound, he covered the foot with bandages.
They rest quietly, Eunice realize that she survived from the morbid events happened to their classmate. Several minute when Eunice hear the young man’s heavy breath.
“Maybe we passed the places your group visited earlier.” The young man said.
“What?”
“I wouldn't be able to take you out of town. They also might find me, I don't want to die because of my helpfulness to you and I think it’s better bring you to our house. But a long trip back to my house.” The young man explained to Eunice.
Eunice felt the fear of again because the young man said.
“What’s your name?” The young man asked.
“Eunice.”
“I am Dylan.”
“Don’t worry I’m always ready,” he said.
Dylan pulled the shot gun under the passenger seat. This is the first time Eunice sees a real gun closer.
“For protection,” Dylan added.
She must survive tonight with Dylan, she thought. She had no idea how long she needs to take on the eccentric province. She is grateful that somehow, she met Dylan.
