Chapter 17: The Second Time Around
“That will be all for now.” Louis smiled at Greenbird with real warmth. “You’ve had a long trip today. You can rest in your quarters and let Marsh-Flower-In-Sunlight catch you up on what’s happened since you left.” He held a hand up as he saw her start to blink, and saw her hands drift toward her shoulders in the sign for protest. “I’ll be busy with Strong-Lady-Of-Glorious-Voice all evening, and you need the time. I’ll need you before the Ceremony of Installation tomorrow, and not until then.”
