Aurelia was unaware what the little act of giving back the cards had done to Alex. She scurried out of the building with Quinn and asked to go back home as soon as possible.
Everytime she had an encounter with Alex, the after effects were always the same. It was like a significant amount of energy had been drained out of her.
The only relief she had now was that Alex and her didn't have any other reason to cross paths with each other anymore.
As for the pursing part, Aurelia simply hoped that her blatant unwillingness to forgive him was enough to have him loose the idea of getting back together.
