She sat up on the bed as she waited for Adam. She rotated her shoulders and felt a slight pain in them from having her hands above her head for so long. Next she examined her wrist there were some cuts and the beginnings of some bruises. "I didn't mean for you to get hurt." Adam said from the doorway with a plate of strawberries in one hand, wineglasses in the other and a bottle of wine under his arm. "It's okay." Adam gave her a questioning look. "I might have to wear long sleeves for a few days, but it was worth it. "Was it now?" "MmHmm." Adam kissed her nose before he emptied his hands. After pouring her a glass of the wine, he left her once again, this time he returned with a wash cloth. Taking her hands in his, he carefully moved the warm wet wash cloth over her wrist.
