Queen Ligeia snapped at Naila the moment they left the hall to go to another room. Irissa had to hold back her mother, stopping her from attacking Naila. She knew that even if her mother were the Queen, her power wasn’t enough to defeat the kingdom’s most revered sorceress.
‘I only told them the truth, Ligeia,’ Naila replied, unfazed by the Queen’s outburst.
‘You scared them!’
