Melissa and Gobert looked outside the window the moment they heard the first clap of thunder.
“Looks like it's going to rain,” Melissa said.
“Yeah, and based on how dark these clouds are, it’s not just rain,” Gobert replied.
Melissa sighed.
“It looks like a storm. Are the boats back?” Melissa asked and Gobert shrugged.
Then a waiter approached Gobert about something and as his focus was on the waiter, Melissa walked closer to the door to look outside.
“I’ll check on the rental,” she spoke and went out of the restaurant.
Melissa walked over to the boat rental where the two attendants were making sure the rental boats that were returned were tied properly in the docks.
“Are all the boats returned?” Melissa asked.
“Two more are out, ma’am but they are on their way back,” one attenda
