‘How is she?’
Queen Ligeia asked as soon as she entered Naila’s lair.
‘See for yourself.’ Naila replied, without looking up from the stone tablets she was reading.
Queen Ligeia swims closer to where her daughter is sleeping and leans forward to look at her. Immerline remained asleep like the time Naila put her to sleep.
‘Did she wake up?’ Queen Ligeia asked.
Naila looked up from what she was reading and looked at the Queen.
‘As you can see, she hasn’t moved an inch since the day I placed her there. So, no, she hasn’t woken up,’ Naila answered.
