“Immerline, wait for me!”
Fiero hollered as he chased after his mate on the beach. Immerline giggled as she splashed water towards him. Fiero could only chuckle and continued to chase after.
He ran faster and soon, he swooped in and grabbed his mate by her waist, hugging her in the process. Immerline giggled, and then she turned around and put her arms around his neck.
“God, you’re beautiful,” Fiero whispered.
“I know,” she replied and then she tiptoed and kissed his cheek before pulling away from him and ran.
Fiero grinned and chased after her again. This time, Immerline went back to their picnic mat and sat there. Fiero followed her and sat beside her, and then the two of them looked at the calm waves of the sea.
They are back on the same beach where they used to meet before.
