Fiero slapped the surface of the water as the frustration he felt skyrocketed when the scent that allured him disappeared. “Damn it,” he hissed. Then he huffed. “Cassius, what the hell was that? Sure, you felt that too,” he asked his Lycan, but he was quiet. Fiero frowned. “CASSIUS!” He yelled, and it somehow startled his Lycan. ‘Fiero… I think… I think we found our mate,’ Fiero’s scowl deepened, confused by what his Lycan said. “What do you mean by you think?” he asked. ‘I am not sure!’ Cassius snapped. Fiero groaned, and then he huffed before he swam back towards the boat. He climbed back in and grabbed the towel from his bag. “What do you mean you are not sure? You’re the Lycan; you know this thing more than I do!” Fiero snarled and started drying himself with the towel. C
