After breakfast, Alfonse spoke to Immerline while Oona spoke to Sofia in separate locations in the house.
Oona spoke to Sofia in the kitchen as the latter helped in taking the dishes to the sink.
“Sofia,” Oona started as she grabbed an envelope from the top of the fridge.
Then she gave that envelope to Sofia. When she opened the envelope, she was surprised to see money, lots of it. Sofia looked at Oona.
“Ma’am, what is this for?” she asked.
“I told you that today is also an official working day, so I gave you your salary for the day. I added a few more bills as a bonus for agreeing to take Immerline with you, and a few more as your pocket money,” Oona explained.
Sofia looked at her in disbelief.
“But ma’am… It’s too much,” she said as she tried to give the envelope back to Oon
