If Saoirse thought that stupid amulet worked, she was wrong. Her passing it onto Melina was foolish. I could have intervened at any time. I could have picked Melina up at the Dark Mist pack, her new mate's home that night, or at his office the next day. But I didn’t because those women, and she-wolves, were making my job easy.
