I wanted to rip her head off, literally. I wanted to hurt her like she had hurt my mate, but Jaden held me tight and whispered into my ear, “Let your mother do this, love. She's been overwhelmed with guilt since you were taken.”
I looked over at my mother, who was watching Morgan like a hawk. Once she entered the sparring ring, Morgan was going to be sorry. My mother was a force to be reckoned with when it came to fighting. I believe that Elenore and Donald were aware of that. That’s why Elenore tried to kiss up to Mom. I’ve got news for Elenore, it wasn’t going to work. I almost died, and my mother was not going to let that slide. I was able to relax, despite Morgan's laughter.
