Maksim’s POV
I wasn’t happy about this trip, especially after finding out yesterday that my sister had a warlock after her. I understood why she wanted to go. All her life, she just wanted someone to love and accept her. After Trevor, I saw how badly she took it. She thought that it would never happen. I’m glad that Jaden has redeemed himself. He’s actively working on making it right for Melina. He told us earlier that he wants to work from the Black Adder pack. He will look into setting up an office in town, as his current law office is planning to expand.
He had previously avoided being close to home to avoid his ex-girlfriend and sister. Jaden is planning to sell his house and move here. He’s even getting his grandmother’s engagement ring from the safe in his room today.
