Jaxon’s POV
“You may begin,” I replied. Cheryl was never patient when it came to dealing with anyone who hurt her children. I’ve known that for a fact after I saw her deal with Graham twenty years ago.
As soon as the words left my lips, Elenore and Donald ran forward to try to stop Cheryl. She knew they would be coming. She shoved Morgan down hard to keep her from running away, and turned to punch Elenore and kick Donald. They both staggered back as the blows landed on them. How can they be surprised that they got hit? They willingly ran into a fight. Anyone who does that gets what they get for it.
“Cheryl, stop! You can’t hurt her, she honestly didn’t know,” Elenore cried from where she lay on the ground.
