Maksim’s POV
I picked Melina up in my arms and took off for the hospital. I was a blur as I ran past numerous pack members as I sent a link to Dr. Gurin. He was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. No one is going to stop me from being there for my sister. When they tried to stop me at the emergency room, I dropped my fangs and let them know that I was serious about staying with her. I needed to know what was wrong with her. I needed to be there for her.
I was terrified for her. She has never passed out like this before. I needed to come with her, and Dr. Gurin called back and told them to let me in. He told me that I could stay while they were checking her out. But warned that if she needed surgery, I’d have to leave. I nodded in agreement and stayed out of their way. I
